Introducing Dr. Jeremy Barchman, B.Sc., D.C.

At a young age, Dr. Jeremy became fascinated by how exquisitely the human body carries on so many intricate tasks under the surface, while allowing us to carry on our lives. He was captivated by how the nervous system carried out the control of all of these functions in such a wonderfully vast, yet simple manner. He decided as a young child that he would spend his future helping people be their best, naturally.

Dr. Jeremy has an undergraduate degree in Zoology, with emphasis in Human Anatomy and Physiology, from Iowa State University. He has taught Anatomy and Physiology at Iowa State University and at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in Oshawa. Before graduating from chiropractic school, he worked as a Rehabilitation consultant and a Fitness and Weight-Loss Coach, working with both non-athletes and athletes of the highest caliber, helping them achieve better health and higher performance levels. He graduated Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Postgraduate study has included Distinguished Fellow certification in Chiropractic Biophysics Technique for spinal structural correction, and training in Active Release Technique for soft tissue injury management.

Dr. Jeremy Barchman is dedicated to providing the options for patients to achieve their best potential through functional improvements and structural correction. Traumatic events both large and small happen to everyone, and whether or not it is immediately realized, they have long-lasting effects on future health. Due to advances in chiropractic technique, it is possible to permanently correct the abnormal alignments and postures that have occurred through life, and are often the source of the symptomatic complaints that patients present with. As a result of their correction, these symptoms can be permanently reduced or eliminated. While many chiropractors offer symptom relief, these benefits are often temporary and the treatments show no measurable structural changes on follow-up evaluation. Without correction, these patients are predisposed to the recurrence of the same symptoms for which they originally sought care.

Dr. Jeremy has dedicated his professional career to the most advanced techniques available to provide permanent, measurable changes of the structural alignment of the spine. Prior to establishing Dynamic Balance Chiropractic in Ajax, Dr. Barchman worked at one of the largest chiropractic facilities in the United States as a chiropractor and the resident specialist on structural correction and sports injury, and helped many individuals and families achieve their optimum potential.

In the spring of 2005, Dr. Jeremy traveled to Bolivia on a chiropractic mission trip to provide care for those who would not otherwise have the means for treatment. When not working with patients, Dr. Jeremy enjoys running, camping, biking, reading, snowboarding, many sports, and spending time with his family and friends.
